I don't use sliders. For those who do use them, how do you pick the
optimal position? Or do you just end up sliding all the way one way or
another.

Well, since i can't unsubscribe, i may as well post.
Sliders are very ergonomic in my opinion you can feel the relative value of
your control throw, Pots you have to look at to see where they are. Sliders
are good for flap trimmers when you have a preset (reflex, camber) on a three
position switch

I use the 3-pos switch for reflex, neutral, and launch camber. Then if

Setting a max travel point is fairly easy for the optimal position, and I

The Profi 3030 has two sliders between the sticks. I use the left for
camber control.
Thanks to all of you who replied and affirmed my suspicions that I had
received a defective fuse. I'm happy to report that the manufacturer and
distributor agreed with our diagnosis and will be replacing the entire

I know it's not common to praise vendors in this forum but I'll buck
Profi users: what do you use the right
slider for and how do you set it up to do that.
On my 3030 I select one of the three flight modes via the memory switch:
1. launch
2. fly
3. land
For each of these flight modes, I use the left (throttle) stick

With all the bashing that seems to on this site on venders I'm pleased to

with an untimely demise(I drove over it). Well, I set the wings up do build
the fuse on some rainy day. When I got around to it and looked for my

Have not tried them but if they live up to their specifications they will

during building season

Bill,
been flying one since december and it builds quick, turns on a dime
and compared to my Zagi 3C it runs all over it. All up weight came out at
16oz. The only mods i have done is add new wingtips and glassed the elevons
with 3/4oz cloth and water based polyurethane. The new wingtips were made

Slider for camber is good. Sliding, not digital, elevator trim equally good and correct, for the same reasons.

Love them. Thin, fast, strong and programmable. They even come with a metal arm.
