Many Thanks,

Last night we had a knock at our door - and it was our pleasure to
welcome back Rick Walters (LSF 003). He will be again representing
the U.S. in the 18-meter class, at the World Gliding Championships on
July 25 - Aug 16, 2008 in Luesse, Germany. Here's a little background

sailplane canopy polish. I need to order some - does anyone else
still have the reference?

Dan,
I've been using a 6102 for my DX-6 since last December. First, use a
"Y" connector to plug both of the spoiler servos into and then it
into the throttle channel. Rudder servo into aileron channel is done
all the time. Finally, the elevator mix into throttle(actually
spoilers) is p
Jim,
Just wanted to second Karl's thanks. Your unflagging energy and
attention to detail have been appreciated for these many past years!
Thanks for carrying on the tradition,

If you want the thin, light weight, stuff go to Gabe's Air Dynamics site, at:

I use it for battery packs, RXs, ESCs, and servos.

I have a JR 8103 DT for sale. It is the "A" model (acro &
sailplane), which of course does acrobatic, helicopter, and sailplane
models equally well, and is on channel 55. It's in great shape,
battery upgraded to 1400 NiMH. Includes original charger, manual,

Sounds great. Have been waiting a couple of years for JR to jump

Just hope it works like the EVO with scanner module. The MANDATORY

Cost now is $699.95 + S&H and $45.00. My cost was $619.95 + $38.00.
I'm selling it for $575 + shipping.

Andrew,
What you say is always a good idea. However, it can be done by the
consumer with some care. I recently got the "L" on one of my 8103s.
The change over probably made it 'batteryless' for 10 to 15 min. Lo,
and behold, the settings were still there. Maybe there is a big
capacitor in t
Craig,
As Jerry said, Mark is still in the hobby as Dynaflite:

IMHO, the stuff you really want to look for is called "Cerro-Bend".
It is almost as heavy as lead and it melts at temps lower than
boiling water, if memory serves. Don't have any other info.

One of the more accepted hookups is to connect the output of the
variac to the input of a 24v or 40v transformer, of sufficient power
handling capacity, and then hook the hot wire to the output of the
transformer. This way you get isolation and a fine vernier control
of the actual cutting vol

I was told by a Horizon Hobbies (JR's distributor) technician three
weeks ago that the original JR 610M RX only had a problem with
partial throttle settings when used with E-Flight ESCs. Then it was
a REAL problem! The RX has been moded and can be identified by a
