Tired of reading reviews of the latest ARF in model magazines? Then
download the latest issue of RCSD and read the article on developing
sailplanes for dynamic soaring. Not only is the article interesting - it's
well written.

You are absolutely right.
There are many articles covering contests, unbiased reviews, how-to's and
tips in every issue covering all genres of RC Soaring.
Over the years RCSD has remained the only RC soaring specific publication

TD soaring stuff, techy/science stuff, building tips and soaring
reports, both slope, TD and events.
Hey, there's nothing wrong with slope

OK, so maybe the pictures aren't National Geographic quality and the
editorial content leaves something to be desired, but RCSD still fills a
niche. It was here long before Quiet Flyer and Quiet and Electric

Pat,
You can charge any size MiNH battery with seven or eight cells with the transmitter charge plug of the Sirius Pro. The charge rate won't exceed 2 amps with this charger which is not enough for primary MiNH large cell charging. We use other chargers to provide 5 amps needed for 2600 MiNH
I have to agree with Don Stackhouse--the answer is not to ban park flyers,
but to bring those folks into our clubs. We used the safety and
interference argument here in Columbus to get the City to allow us to fly
electrics at our sailplane field. (We had previously been banned from

I first received the RCSD when it was published by Jim Gray. At that time
there were no photographs, only content. If you want pretty pictures, look

I don't know if this has been done ever (or at least recently),
but it would be great to see an article in RCSD giving a detailed
outline and comparison of the features of the top-end and mid-range
transmitters.
I would do it, if someone wanted to donate some transmitters to
