Sacramento Valley RC will be holding the Spring Fling on May 20-21 at the club
flying site in Davis, CA. The Fling is the second leg of the Western States
Triad. Details will be up on the SVSS website (www.svss.org) in the near
future. Come and join us for NorCal's premier sailplane contest.
Did you guys work out the issue with the Davenport International Slope Race?

The Sacramento Valley Soaring society is holding their Annual Spring Fling on June 25Th. 26Th. This a great gathering of pilots and is also the second leg of the Triad.. You know the Southwest Classic/ Spring Fling and the Visual combination Trophy.
I am going to try and rip that thing from your cold, dying? hands. I'll
bet your hands will be pretty darn alive everytime there is a buck on the
line for the landing.
Sure hope they have that bonus zone for when you really screw up ;^) I
liked that one last time.

Spring Fling. Hello.. where is everybody?
Looks like a fun format - lots of flying, challenging
tasks, and a great group of guys. Besides, I'll be

I've been flying the Spring Fling since the first year, and have ALWAYS had a
great time . . . the conditions do really suck sometimes, but that just
brings out the best in the pilots. If you're looking for dead calm
conditions and endless thermals as a challenge for your
