Do polarized glasses help? I've always heard that sunlight is unpolarized, while
sunlight reflected off of car hoods, water, the street, etc, becomes polarized. So I
can see how polarization would work well for driving, but not for staring up into the
sky. In fact, couldn't it possibly make

I was of the opinion that the data concerning various sunlight radiation
has not shown an increase at reasonable elevations. What data is
available concerning this and concerning increased incidence of eye

I've been using "Zurich" dark sunglasses for a few months now,
and I like them a lot.
They fit over my normal glasses and wrap around. full uv protection not
polarized, good bfor me, I've lost sight of planes using polarized lenses.

I have been using Revo sunglasses for 15 years and love them. They are
great for most activities, except flying. They recently came out with
polarized versions, however, Revo's are designed to block out IR and UV, but
to let in a lot of available light.

Go to a store on a cloudy day or other low light condition such as dusk, put
on a pair of good quality orange sunglasses and see for yourself the
increased contrast. Great for driving also.
