I think you've missed the point...
The VB wrapper allows VB programmers (this includes ASP) to interface
directly to SQLite.
No half way houses, no strange connection of disparate apps, just
straight-forward Windows code.
As you say, if you're talking VB then you're obviously talking
using DAO to SQLITE
