downloading the correct debian package, and then double clicking the
downloaded .deb file.

On the LMS Plugins tab, do a text search for "Material Skin". If
Material Skin is not found, it might be that LMS (temporarily) cannot
connect to an xml file in which the 3rd party plugins are listed. AFAIK
this xml file resides on a Logitech server. Do you see other 3rd party
plugins on the LMS

I remember that when I was using LMS 7.7.6 and 7.7.7 on Windows,
"phantom" players appeared in the client list of the Client Cleanup
plugin. These phantom players had a MAC address, but no name. If I
