Bill, I tried the method at
http://devwiki.pfsense.org/DevelopersBootStrapAndDevIso and it worked fine,
but I have two problems:
1-When I booted from the generated iso I had a can't load kernel error, so
I checked the iso and didn't find the kernel in /boot/kernel/, I only found
the other kernels
Is there no way of building pfSense now ? I need to do that urgently, so plz
if anyone knows how to build it in this state advice me ?

If you want to customize the web interface, you can do that on the
working system, you don't need to build a new ISO for that. Simply edit
the php. If you're trying to make a pfSense clone with your
customizations, that's another thing entirely and then yes, you would

Second, I've been trying to build a fresh pfSense following the guide at
http://devwiki.pfsense.org/BuildingpFSense but I've faced alot of problems.
I'm not sure how up to date that document is (and it looks like we
have a couple of 'build' docs on the wiki). This one
http://devwiki.pfsense.org/DevelopersBootStrapAndDevIso has been gone
through a number of times by myself and had various fixes applied to
it. You might try it out.
