i am running we9.1 on a windows 8.1 sistom. When useing the computer i am
noticing a considerable lag. The lag is most noticed when using the file
explorer and web browsers like google crome and firefox.

make sure that the ff window is not maximized or you will not be able to
open any of the pull down menus. you max and restore the window with f11.
you can open the bookmark list from the pull down menu, by pressing control

Hi Don,
You can do it two ways. The first way is easy but the second way is more
destructive as it'll reset everything including removing additional apps etc.
1. Press control-backslash for the Window-eyes control panel.
2. Press alt-f, f for the file menu/factory settings.
3. Press D until y

I would suggest uninstalling Window-Eyes and then reinstalling it again.
See if that works. If not, you may have to hit f11 when you boot up your
computer as if you had just taken it out of the box for the first time.

They might be image based PDFs which are basically a picture. No screen
reader can read them. You will need an OCR program to convert them to
readable text.

Use your alt-control-right arrow for each voice and match its rate.
For example, set Screen, keyboard and mouse rate to 5.
Once you do that the alt-control-up will change the rate for all voices
providing the alt-control-right arrow is set to all.
Save your settings when done.

It is a known issue if you have browse mode on, The combo box and check boxes
don't read.
However, if you turn off browse mode and use tab, the information reads.

cannot locate the app. I looked under Program Enhancements and saw the IE
Enhance app, but not the Outlook app. Can someone direct me to the download?

Try using Control-F4 to close the problematic document, and this will keep
Adobe open.
Then, return to the folder where the file attachment is stored and try
opening it again.

doubling them puts focus in the specific header field, allowing you to read
