I don't believe the bias is on Sky's part. As much as I do and have

Great idea. Although I can't imagine anyone doing it. Remember, FS has
never hosted scripts for JAWS. That alone shows where users stand.

If VFO terminates App Central or whatever it is currently called, how
many apps, generally speaking, will no longer work with WE? In other
words, would it be adviseable to download all of the apps one last time
to make sure we can have access to all of our favorites or is it

I agree with you.
It could be done but like you say it would be a massive undertaking, not
to mention the cost.

Not to menschen that the two brothers gloated about the demise of Window-Eyes
on a tech talk presentation. They're JAWS beta testers and they are so bias
that they actually delighted in announcing Window-Eyes demise.

What would be the benefit in thisfor the individuals who would set up

Besides, could you imagine the uproar there would be (among Jaws users)

Hi Brenda. Sky here. Having a app mall would be amazing! Unfortunately I
don't have the skills to set up one, otherwise I would set up a app mall!

The app mall is an excellent idea if there is someone talented and

I uninstalled, then reinstalled Window-Eyes, and everything worked as

Unfortunately, seems like this is yet another way they try to push the
final point of WE as quickly as possible. Next thing is, they will turn
down the lists, my guess is. Perhaps the only reason why they still keep
the lists running, and App Central up, is that people actually make use
of them
I would certainly be interested in such a thing if somebody could set it up.
I am thinking of a Window-eyes app page which is privately run. It could be
an app repository, or it might include more things, like a new Window-eyes
list, etc.

That totally makes sense, because all other screenreaders I
have on all my computers i.e. JAWS, NVDA both read the list of messages
propperly. One might ask why not just use those if it gets the job
done? My answer? Old habbits die hard. You like the way a certain

Dear Jeff,
Some of us do intend to use Window-Eyes as long as it is viable.
Would it be possible to place your updated apps on a public folder somewhere
where we could still access them?

Window Eyes still does everything I need it to do and probably will
quite a way in the future. The issue with reading or not reading emails
in ThunderBird is not a Window Eyes issue. It is, or was a script in
ThunderBird. Bugs can happen with any program as we all know.
Cheers.

Although you can not get it to stop speaking the words alt and control,

But in the meantime, it is still a firstclass screenreader which works
incredibly well!

Why do you stay on this list? This answer or something similar is all
you post here. Obviously you can't wait for Window-Eyes to die. It's
your answer to everything, even when there's a simple real answer that
will fix the problem. Haven't you anything better to do? Just curious.
