As Aaron has said, the Alt-Print screen usage is just a convenience.
Opening VirtualView with Control-Alt-V and selecting your choices is
going to give you the same and more.
Secondly, bear in mind that Alt-Print Screen is just a shot of the
active window. Assuming you want to OCR an

I have been using numerous keyboards up through the years, and as you
Aaron suggests, the PrintScreen usually is just right of F12, and on a
standard keyboard, that would make it the farmost left of the 3 keys

Just an FYI, there are mainstream OCR programs as well such as Abbyy
Finereader and OmniPage. I know OpenBook was used as an example, but
just setting the record straight in case you think OCR is a blindie
thing when actually it isn't!
