Do you have a map url?
What user id is being reported?
I have seen instances where a user has started their username with a
space and it has thrown various things.

It's in the FAQ - 3.8 at http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/FAQ .

Assuming you know the username (from zooming in on the Osmarender layer say)
then you can append that name instead of your own to the www.osm address. eg
mine is at http://www.openstreetmap.org/user/blackadder. From there you can
send an email to the user.

Hi,
today i found someone deleted roundabouts i mapped (and just the
roundabouts - not the streets leading up there).
Then tonight i find more garbage data (ways without ANY tags, dots,
cycleways which are definitly not there, unconnected roads, duplicate
roads etc) in and around the area.

I was looking at the incline tag and noticed the proposal for an incline
to be applied to ways. The discussion on the wiki page seemed to support
it and it was rejected. Is there a missing part of the discussion?

IMO map features should be built on top of tagwatch. This way tagging
recommendations would be built on top what's actually used. Much more

How about this discussion...

I tried some bike routing with pyroute and it seemed fairly happy

I have tagged the rivers Trent and Ouse which merge into the Humber estuary to
get it to render and be consistently tagged. I tried a few schemes and got
advice from others, especially David Groom. I broke up the river into chunks.
I tagged the banks of these chunks as waterway=riverbank and
Maybe riverbanks should be picked up by the coastline checker, then the

a proposal made in December 2006 which didnt make it to the voting process.
