清野です。 あまりこの議論を深めても良くないのかもしれませんが…。 日本の神仏習合は非常に奥が深く、簡単には語ることが出来ません。 で、意見中立の立場からいくと、神道だとか仏教だとかと一概に言えない部分が多いと思います。 また道祖神の場合はそのいずれでもない民間信仰も絡んでいるので余計難しい部分があります。 基本的には、道祖神については、路傍の石造物ということで処理したほうがいいのかもしれません。 例えば、 上位概念として、石像、 中位概念として、宗教的信仰の対象 下位概念として、民間信仰 のようなヒエラルキー構造にした方が良いと思います。

I've been to a successful mapping party in NYC, which was run by CloudMade. The meetup.com group still exists, and someone is funding it. I don't know anyone specific who is still working with it though. I believe Lancaster, PA is still trying to have monthly meetups as well. -- Jim McAndrew
