ルールとしては基本的にはこれで良いと思います。
個人的な思いとして(コミュニティ全体で認知されたルールではありませんが)
Bing画像は差し替えがあるので、画像とマッピング内容の
どちらが正しい(新しい)か判断する手掛かりとして

かつて議論がありましたね。
確かその時に書式は
source=Bing, 2011-04
で、期間が表示されている場合は古い方を書く、
というルールだったと思います。
ただ、僕個人としては、

で表示される、
「Dec/2006-Dec/2007」等の表示をそのまま記入していました。
期間が示されている場合は期間をそのまま書き写すほうが良いかな、と考えております。
年月の表記方法は揺れているようですが、
sourceタグのBing自体が、Microsoftから必須事項として強制されていない、
