Stephan,
How can I get this macro to work like InstantTimestampPlugin in TWC. It
would be great to have a timestamp function in TW5.
Thanks in advance.
Paul.

Dear Jeremy,
Will TW5 have the ability to act as the includeplugin in future? I dont
really want to use node.js. Should I return to TWC for that feature? And if
yes, will future releases of TW5 be able to import the content of TWC files
perfectly? What are the plans for the next beta release
Solution: Add the following to the (shadow) tiddler PublishTemplateHead:
meta charset=utf-8
(just before the other meta element).

TW can export to HTML. You can use a lot of existing tools to convert them
into other formats. eg: pdf ...
Basically TW uses a template and a core

When you create a new tiddler in TW5 do you specify the type of the

Not for regular tiddlers.
Just for data tiddlers, macros, widgets, filters… So nothing you create
during normal usage.
Having said that: Maybe it's a good idea to hide that input field to save
some screen real estate and just replace it with a small icon?

But in case of stylesheets you have to use text/css as type.
At the moment you have to add it manually or use text/plain from the list.
5.0.8 beta will contain text/css in the list.
Cheers,

@Jeremy,
After style sheet reordering [1] the style sheets used in TW5 could be
simplified.
In the process of refactoring the stylesheets of my guides, I found that
many of the pre elements like html, html body or html body.tw-body
are not needed anymore.
Styles that did not need them:

Thanks in advance for looking into my use case.
I use TW for logging my action items. I keep track of my tasks en log my
progress with timestamps. With the InstantTimestampPlugin in TWC it is
possible to enter {ts} or {t} (for timestamp) or {ds} or {d} (for
datestamp) in my tiddler content.
Hello Julie,
Ah...more options to try out...thanks a million!

Hi Marcel,
mk@T2:~$ tiddlywiki --server 8080 0.0.0.0
I'm afraid you need to include all the parameters in between the port

MyUserName passw0rd 0.0.0.0

important?
What are the other types used for? For example Json data or dictionary?

I'm embedding the output in a table. Not only one list, one list per each cell.
The table is also constructed in the macro using wikitext. Could that be the
problem?

It looks like you imported a new copy of the core (the core is contained in
the plugin $:/core). The import would be rejected unless the incoming
core version was higher than the current one. The end result is that you've
done a partial upgrade, which may well leave the wiki in an

Your idea is not bad. An other solution would be Evernote (online
synchronization and the encryption of sensitive information). Or you can
simply organize your digital documents, notes, etc. in folders then archive

As there are so many complains(?) about TWs documentatin, I thought I'd
take a look at it.
I have to admit: The documentation for a newbie isn't good.
If you go to http://tiddlywiki.com you'll first see the HelloThere

Hi Ton
The current situation is that the stylesheet mechanism renders the tiddler
$:/core/ui/PageStylesheet into a special fake dom, and then extracts the
text and jams it into a style element in the DOM. The content of

If you search for zip password recovery with google. I doubt, you'll

Truecrypt is great but as you mentioned, a bit more complicated.

Now I'm dealing with this dilemma:

Make a filter, and only display links in those days that has any entry
Hi everyone,
The system is opensuse 13.1 32bits. I downloaded TiddlyDesktop 32bits and
unziped it at home folder. NW is executable. Opensuse is kinda of a
