I've never tried it, but since the change in size is keyed only by the
touch or IR input, I'd assume that it stays in whatever mode it was in

Interesting question. I presume you've read my other posts on the USB
output, so I won't go into all that now.
The USB driver is the standard ALSA USB driver, which does support 192

Hi
Obviously still waiting for my Touch to arrive...
Will the USB output 24/192 or is this limited to 24/96?
I will be using the Touch with a Chord QBD76 dac which requires dual
wire sp/dif connection for 192khz input.
Cheers

The 4.3" touchscreen is the same size as used in the volume GPS's in
North America.
I expect to buy an IPod Touch to use as my remote control if the
Touch's touch screen and its location is too cumbersome.

One advantage of the touch screen is that you CAN control the unit
directly without the remote. I don't see it as the preferred method
most of the time, but could likely come in handy quite often, and they
can add the capability without having to provide the "hard" buttons.

The screen size used in the Touch is a very popular size,

For sure, there are zillions of cell phones using small touchscreens,
and in screens and chips, the volume of sa

It may even be cheaper to use a touchscreen. The screen

True, perhaps, but that's not the way it usually seems to work,
especially with consumer electronics. Logitech, and Slim Devices before
them, have decided that the price point for SBs is $US300. The SliMP3
I thnk Logitech's approach makes pefect sense - and it's a step or two
better than Sonos.
Neither unit comes with a comprehensive LCD remote. If you want one,
you can either buy one from the company, or you get an iTouch/iPhone.
But, the advantage goes to the Touch because it doesn't need an

Hi Guys,
This morning I got two e-mails from Logitech - coincidence?
One was to say that they had marked my case as SOLVED since they had
received no reply from me in the last 168 hours to the response they
gave me. I advised them that my case was a question asking for an
indication of when the

Otherwise, as there's no playback material... it doesn't really matter.
I struggle to find 24/96 (outside some classic/jazz) anyway, so I don't
even think of 24/192 yet !

(I'm a newbie. It's not clear to me what is tiny server? It is optional
to install tiny server? Do I need it if I don't have other squuezbox
device? Could I use sdcard or pendrive on the touch without the tiny
server? Sorry for my silly questions!)
