Yesterday I put a scope on the S/PDIF output and could see the sample rate change in between tracks. I was poring over the code and think I might have found a spot that might be causing it. I modified the code in my development environment and got it to complile but ran out of time this morning

The end of this thread... the Touch is up and running (more or less). The update procedure will only work if the Diagnosis screen is accessed from the first available opprotunity - the language selection. My Touch is now connected to my NAS with the Squeezebox Server and plays music just fine. If
