Tonight I tried the fix I'd found and it does work, no switching to 44.1
between hi sample rate tracks.
Unfortunately its in the C code so it will have to be in a future
firmware release. You can't just patch it with the Patch Installer.

Yesterday I put a scope on the S/PDIF output and could see the sample
rate change in between tracks.
I was poring over the code and think I might have found a spot that
might be causing it. I modified the code in my development environment
and got it to complile but ran out of time this morning

It turns out there is no gap problem. I was using source material which
had a tiny bit

TinySC crashes on radio stations, not just HD playback.
Scan was complete before streaming (very small library, almost no
art).
No visualizers in use.

Try a factory reset. There is a button just above where the power
connects to the back of the reseiver. Hold that in until the screen
shows it's been reset. However, before you do that disconnect the power
from the wireless router and modem you are using and leave them
unplugged for about 30 secon
Everything has been working fine in the week or so since I got my Touch
but tonight I can't access any radio stations-'cannot resolve IP
address' message comes up for each of my favourites like Radio
Paradise.
What have I done wrong and how do I resolve it?

Yeah..
Im pretty impressed actually by the step up from the SB3 to the Touch
into my Caiman Dac.

using scp will most likely be slower then a network share. SCP needs to
encrypt/decrypt files on the touch side. The CPU will be a bottleneck.

I browse my music by Composer>Work>Album>Track.
When at the Work or Album level, I want to be able to play all tracks
in that Work/Album by us
I've never heard a transporter, but I can say that the digital out of
the Touch through a Bel Canto Dac3 sounds to me as good as the digital
out of the SB+ (which is very good indeed, and much better than the
SB3).

Hmm... my message didn't really make it...
What I wanted to say: 7.5.0 will only use the first partition which is
available to the Touch. In 7.5.1 we'll provide an easier way to switch music
source, which should help your use case.

Why would you bother? If someone has access to that file, whether or
not they need to decrypt it is the least of your concerns. They have

I did not purchase it online, it was a couple of years ago now so I
think the particular model I have is no longer in stock. But if you
search for linear PSU I am sure you will find plenty of options. You
will just have to make sure that the PSU is able to deliver at least 3A
in 5V.

You may well have a dud, but I'd first check (compare) volume level
output between your Touch and SB3.
Turn your AVR/receiver volume to MUTE, put both SB3 and Touch volumes
to MAX, start playback on both players, turn up AVR/receiver volume,
switch between inputs, see if hiss is still there.

Touch arrived yesterday, brilliant bit of kit. So far so good!
It is possible to use a USB Hub to connect a HDD and pen instead of
removing the USB directly on the touch everytime I want to use my pen.

The update procedure will only work if the Diagnosis screen is accessed
from the first available opprotunity - the language selection. My Touch
is now connected to my NAS with the Squeezebox Server and plays music
