You have two favorite lists one on the local server and one on
mysqueezebox.com .
However depending on squeezeboxserver version you could have a favorite

That could be it.
So if I save a favorite on the SB, I need to be DISCONNECTED from

You know that I enjoy your mod.
My blind test execution was most certainly not perfect, and I (wrongly)
did expect to easily identify your mod in this test. I am just sharing
my own experience, and I can only be truthful about it. Do you think I
am spreading FUD in the process?

I have seen some discussion on this elsewhere but I'm not sure if I have
seen a definitive answer.
I understand that ALAC is supported natively on the Touch. At least if
I connect a USB drive which contains some ALAC files to the Touch, the
SB server on the Touch plays them.

Any chance you are switching between servers when you are saving to
Favorites?
Saving a Favorite while the player is connected to SBS on your computer
will not be shown as a Favorite if you connect your player to MySB.com
online.

Flextreme.
You're outlining pretty inconstant conclusions. That's the weired
thing.
You seem to try to apologize for your "subjective" findings.

Example...I want to save WDET HD2 to my favorites on the Squeezebox. I

The first thing I noticed when I tried soundcheck's mods was that the
music was louder. Presumably there's no big secret here, because I had
previously been using replaygain adjustment (SmartGain) and had the

I think this is a fair statement. 10 out of 16 is far from conclusive,

I'm working on it.
Doing an a/b listening test is very hard because the 20 second reboot
delay exceeds the aural memory window (by about 19 seconds!).
Really you need 2 synced touches side-by-side to do this properly and
to get anything like meaningful results.
As for the ADM tests... they are

Hi Flextreme,
thanks a lot for the first results which can be trusted and are not
bound alone to expectations by the listeners.

I've just bought a Squeezebox Touch and am not able to connect my 320 gb
Lacie HDD to the device. Can anyone provide any advice on what to try
next?
I have reformatted the drive to NTFS (it was originally formated for a
Mac). Now it recognises the drive but after scanning the music library
