Just out of curiosity, have you checked your router settings? Routers
typically contain their own firewall so it might be worth checking
those settings.

Same problem.
The touch is not available in the players tab.
HOWEVER, I have discovered two things:
1. When adding the ip-address of my MAcBook as a remote library on my
SB touch it is connected (Mac firewall being off)

I have an SBT and cannot get it to link with mysqueezebox.com --- This
is my desktop with a hard wire to the router. The error message that I
keep getting is that I have an invalid username or password.
the odd thing is that I have a laptop on the same network that is able

I have the same problem. Is this a bug in SqueezeServer, Mac or Touch?

If you plugged the drive into your PC, the Touch can no longer see it.
You'll have to run the sevrer on your PC now.

Not a bad idea if there is some odd interaction between your debian

Well, it might be difficult (the friend being in Italy and me in

Aren't there any other means to debug this ?
I'm fairly fluent with the command-line and with commands like netstat,

GUI.
It would be quite a surprise i
Squeezebox Server _never_ modifies anything in your library, so don't
worry about that.
A 'clear & rescan everything' type of scan wipes out everything in the
SBS database and starts over from scratch. During this type of scan the
music library cannot be played (although it will be gradually buil

I believe. Not sure why the router is the problem in this case, but it
might be useful to bring over your router just for testing. If it works

So, I am running the SBS software and you have 2 options in scan. Look
for new music or Clear library and scan everything.
I have around 200 cds in my library and so I decide to Clear and Scan
everything. When I'm done that SBS software says I have 35 albums.

Hi Everyone,
Had my Touch since November and everything was working okay. Just this

I have upgraded to 7.5.3 from 7.5.1 on both Touch and PC/Server.

Went in search on the forums to see if this was a common issue, as I

Hello,
The SBS + SBT is a gift and I have first tried to setup everything at
my house. When everything was working perfectly, I brought the whole
package to my friend's house (the only differences being the internet
router).
So the credentials and everything else is exactly the same.
That's why
I'm a bit confused. Are you trying to access music/radio at your friends
house COMING FROM YOUR HOUSE? That is, are you connecting remotely over
the internet back to your home? If so, you will have to open certain
ports, etc.
Or, alternatively, are you just setting up SqueezeboxServer on a
