After numerous trials during 14 days with 7.7.2 on my wireless Laptop
with Vista home, I can't get it
still doing it...now it seems more like the volume is slowly going down
unnoticably then just unlock up to the correct volume level in one
shot..also i have noticed that the display dims from time to time...is

What do you mean can't get it working? What errors are you getting?
Either 7.7.1 or 7.7.2 should work fine. For now, stick with the
official 7.7.1 version. Get this installed. Maybe try your XP machine.

from the command line and see what it lists as the options for devices?

A shortcut have the benefit of not mounting the drive at boot or when
using explorer, in some windows version it can take forever to use
explorer if network drives are missing

I've not found a combination of parameters
I set the media and playlist folders in Basic Settings to point to the
USB drive on the Touch. Now I see only one entry in the Choose Player
menu, the stuff I ripped shows up in the LMS Web UI, and I was able to
create and save a playlist.
What I see in the library in LMS is out of date compared
Why are running the LMS server on the computer while having the files on
a drive attached to the Touch ?
The Touch runs it own LMS server ( but a Tiny version with some
features turned off ) when the drive is attached ?

I figured out the files are actually up to date. I just need to change
the settings in MediaMonkey and Windows Media Player (which I use when
freedb doesn't recognize a CD) so they match and rename some of the
files I already ripped.

Apple iPad and no real computer and I would like to set her up with a

Screensavers While Playing Screen Off is not sticky on my new Touch,
which has the latest firmware. Running LMS 7.7.1.
I don't use the included IR remote to control it. Instead, I use either
Orange Squeeze on an Android tablet or the Web Control UI from my PC.
Screen Off works ... once,
Am I just an idiot, or is it very, very hard to find the login on the
Touch? I had to reset my password, and now I cannot connect to play my
music files. Where on the Touch can I login with my correct password?
