the sleep times, and there's an option to cancel sleep altogether on the drive, but surely that would reduce the life of the HDD. zen2000 mentioned that his exact same make/model of HDD worked fine after reset/wipe/rescan -- what power settings do you have on your drive? -- SomersetGuy
