I struggled for a long time with this.
Eventually I figured out that turning off "wake on pattern match" in my
advanced NIC settings was the one thing that worked.

Well, I'm not sure how, but in the course of reinstalling LMS/SC, I
managed to undo the plugin that keeps my windows machine awake. I
fiddled with it for a couple of weeks, and realized it wasn't my NIC
that was the problem. windows7 is just retarded and needs to be told to
stay awake unless
Mine is doing something similar now for about a month. Music will be
playing fine, then it just stops dead, as if it has been paused. Screen
stuck where it was. If I jump back a couple of menu levels, and
re-connect the PC, it then will reconnect and start playing music again.

Were you able to find a way to stabilize the Squeezebox Touch when
switching to favorites, and back to album view?
Also, how does the NFS mount show in the SBT libraries?

Android phone with a good interface, and capable of lots of storage
(would probably dl lots of flac files through Squeezecommander). And
I've heard that Squeezecommander running will consume a bunch of
battery.

I was about to post a question asking why my Touch's screen seems to
adjust brightness seemingly randomly. Could this also be attributed to
the brightness adjustment logic. I'm just hoping that my screen isn't
about to pack it in.

Album Art Downloader is the best program for finding it. As to adding
it in one swoop, I'd like to know as well. I was using dbPowerAmp to
add it in during the rip from CD, but I don't know anything good for
adding it in after the fact.

painful.
Oh wait, it's not released in canada... probably won't ever be.
Considering the dollar is about equal right now, I'm not sure I want to

I find it a bit odd that Amazon pre-ordered countless Touches, seemingly
without working out a business agreement with Logitech. If they took
pre-orders, you would think that they had a reasonable means to fill
those orders. I'm losing respect for Amazon and Logitech in all this.

Anyone else get it through Amazon.com? I'm hoping they start shipping
the bugs list (and even expanding it

on what IR commands it will actually blast?
Also, can anyone suggest a resource on IR hardware, and the command
structures? There seems to be precious little information on how this

Can someone explain to me how the Touch will handle IR?
If I send IR to the Touch with my HT-receiver's remote, will it blast
the signal if I use an emitter, or directly connect to my receiver's
IR-in plug?

as the receiver, I may want to tune in to the
music being played on the Touch, but I'm not sure if I can send it a
signal from the Yamaha receiver to the Touch (change tracks, etc.). I
may have to do iPeng and get an ipod Touch as a remote, too.

or ipod touches.
One other question that I've had on my mind - if I connect another
dumb client to the Touch (be it SB3 or receiver, etc) will the Touch
be able to serve seperate music to each, or does it only single stream
(in sync)?
