saved as a playlist. Loaded it into word as a text document (unicode as
that formats it as readable). Ditched the tracks I didn't want by
cutting from the EXTURL text until the second entry finishes with .mp3

in a text editor to remove duplicates. As can be seen from the extract,
each file is referenced twice, once with the EXT number and once

I guess you are running LMS on your computer as a service and in that
case will the program use another user account as the user logged in to
the desktop. Drive mappings to network devices are user specific and LMS
will not see a drive M:. You could try to enter the path to the music

Usually when this occurs it is because the user under which SBS runs
(username 'squeezeboxserver') does not have write permissions in the
playlist folder. So first check which folder you have set for your
playlists, and whether user 'squeezeboxserver' has write permission in
that folder.

Clive also benefit from running server and winamp on the same machine,
this gives both programs the exact same file path :) no need to edit
the files and replace paths, also the same win os no need to replace
back-slash with front-slash.
I do it in a similar way but have mounted my external libra
Clive.
Different setup - I am just using a USB HD plugged directly into the
Touch.
No server running on my PC, just the inbuilt server in the Touch.

Still not working.
I am choosing new playlist in winamp, adding in the files from
\\SQUEEZEBOXTOUCH\media-sda1\flac albums.
Then manage playlist and exporting it to
\\SQUEEZEBOXTOUCH\media-sda1\playlists.

If you're using a Mac, and have FLAC installed (from
http://flac.sourceforge.net/ ) you can use the following OS X Service
to create a playlist in the clipboard (which can then be pasted into an
m3u file and copied to the Touch USB)
With this, you can select FLAC files on the Touch, right-click,
Note that that Touch is running "linux" as OS so it's case sensitive .

The Touch when running TinySC can only use a playlist containing up to
100 songs. I have not found a limit to the number of 100 song playlists
yet. And these 'TinySC' playlists have to be created on the Touch
itself. The ones in SBS can not be moved over to Touch currently.

Sorry if it has been asked before, even with "search" I didn't find it

I brought the entire "my music" folder on my fresh DD (from WMP, all
files are wma). Including the "Playlists" folder.
It worked ok with my server on pc, but the Touch shows "empty" on
playlist (when switched to usb)

Sadly this is not a "Tiny" Server only problem. It really is a problem

Try to shuffle a large playlist when you have an Squeezeplay device
Touch or Radio as player.
