Fixed up Windows 7 boot issue (gotta recommend SevenForums) and after
the reboot - all working perfectly again.
Did I mention I hate computers?
Many thanks for the help and suggestions.

After having Duets for a few years, I finally upgraded to the Touchs (I
have 2). Much easier set-up and less infuriating when something goes
wrong. If the connection was lost, it would they would always readily
connect.
Except now.
Now, the Touchs want to upgrade everytime they are turned on. Not
Are you trying to connect them to SBS on a computer?
If running on a PC or Mac go to SBS Remote Control Diagnostics,
what is reported for ALL pings, ports, IP's?
Trued disabling your anti virus firewall? Reboot the entire network
including players?
On the Touch go to My Music, does it
Yes trying to connect to SBS on the PC (as I have done for years - and
the past 4 months with the Touchs.
In Diagnostics, all Pings, Ports and IP Server addresses are OK for
both SBS and mysqueezebox.
Cant imagine it is the anti-virus nor firewall as they both have been
operating successfully
Both Players are apparently connected to mysqueezebox.com
Are your mysb.com login entered into your SBS settings ? (there is a
tab for that )
Wich server version ? usually you can fetch the players from
mysqueezebox.com within SBS they should appear in the player tab as on
mysqueezebox.com .

I have spent many hours troubleshooting my SB system, only to find that
the solution was to power cycle a

I filled in mysqueezebox.com account info and one of the Touches
appeared. It asked if I wanted to change it from mysqueezebox to this
server. Answered yes and nothing happened. So changed it back, it
redirected to mysqueezebox. Hit the back button on the browser and -
the Touch was no longer
Yeah, if the SBS Diagnostics report all as OK it is probably not anti
virus or firewall, but it's a good starting point to check.
Try this: Touch My Music Switch Library, see if your SBS server
shows up in there.
Beyond that I can only concur with trying a reboot.
