Hi albertoefg
I don't know why nobody seems to care about your post / is only referring to
other so far unfinished solutions (ring is beta at the moment).
I think it's great news and I can't wait to check it out!
However, do you know about WebRTC? There are a lot of providers out there

Hi.
I had flash my router TP-LINK WR841N with librecmc, but now when I turn in
on, all the lights are in on, and the router doesn't work.
I can't reset it, it seems died.
What can I do to revive it?
Thanks!
I looked at the source code to youtube-dl. youtube.py, the code that handles
YouTube, calls JSInterpreter on line 1056. Does this mean that youtube-dl is
running nonfree JavaScript code from Google on my computer?
Does HTML5 Video Everywhere do the same thing in IceCat? It seems to work
Trying different USB ports and plugging them in more than once in each port
helps, too.
It shouldn't help, but it does -- at least on a Libreboot system, it does.
Hi All
First thanks for the advice given so far, the open source thing in my head

you are all saying.

Hi Lightmoon, please tell how you verified that a router doesn't work?
For additional security, wireless networking is disabled by default for
LibreCMC installations.
You have to connect to this router by Ethernet with Telnet or SSH,
and either through LuCi web interface or by using vi, edit
I hope Trisquel will look just the same more or less even after the MATE
transition.
You might also want to consider contact the libreCMC project since you

Well as I thought, getting newer kernel fixed all my problems

I often encounter problems when trying to play a DVD on my Trisquel (and

Then what does JSInterpreter do? What does youtube.py do with it?
It looks fishy, and I've seen discussions on the GitHub page about "fixing"
support for a site by putting the JS through JSInterpreter.
There are imperfect solutions to this. One common solution is to add PPAs to
get the packages you want. Another thing some people do, including myself,
is to install the GNU Guix package manager and install apps with that. GNU
Guix is rolling release, so everything is up to date.

If so, you are recommending proprietary software on this free software forum.

Only problem I had was that a few files were completely different
I was an avid user of youtube-dl, until I figured out that it runs the

I have read that you can't find particular files in your backup. Were they
disorganized when you backed them up?
To make sure I can find everything in backups or on my system, I use this

Another thing I like about qBittorrent is that it runs on Windows, so Windows

In this way, you could make a "free software conversion kit" with literature,

It does seem to be the case though. Try it out.
Hi to everyone on the forums. I'm a new member here. I'm not especially

For the 108 files, you might have to open the file manager as root, which you

Nice comment - point taken :-)
Again I reveal my lack of knowledge (that'll probably happen again soon!).
It takes knowledge to describe a problem well.
