Digging around in gconf I see the following:
/apps/gnome-power-manager/actions/sleep_type_battery = hibernate
/apps/gnome-power-manager/timeout/sleep_computer_battery = 300
so g-p-m is behaving correctly in that it is hibernating after 5
minutes, but these keys are not exposed through the UI and
I'm confirming this, but I imagine it's possible that these keys have
been set at an earlier point in gutsy and won't affect upgrades from
Feisty to Gutsy-final, or a fresh install. I haven't tried a fresh
install and obviously gutsy-final isn't available yet.

I added some logging to the various resume.d scripts to try and track down
where this is happening and it seems to be in the vbetool post call in
/etc/acpi/resume.d/15-video-post.sh, so is fairly fundemental.
In the situations where it does get stuck, I don't get a console, but as
mentioned,
system-config-printer now selects Generic Text Only for the printer by
default.

X without a config file and let it pick a broken 1680 mode, then tell it

Eddie: indeed, I could fix it for me with that, but I'd rather poke it
manually so I notice when it is properly fixed.
I'm not exactly sure of the LP etiquette, but I don't think this is
fixed, so it should probably be reverted to Confirmed, yes.

I have just upgraded my laptop (Thinkpad X40) to gutsy in the last few
days and encountered this.
If I launch a regular gnome terminal and generate a lot of output (e.g.
ls -la /etc/) and scroll with the mousewheel it moves back and forth
through the history correctly.
If I then run screen
fwiw, you can make screen send scrollback to the terminal with this in
screenrc:
termcapinfo xterm ti@:te@
but I can reproduce the particular issue I mentioned with a fresh user
(which presumably doesn't have that option since it's not enabled in
/etc/screenrc).

Sorry, that wasn't very clear.
With the regular gnome terminal without running screen, the mouse
scrolls through the *scrollback* of the terminal (ie what you would
expect since the widget has a scrollbar). It's just running inside
screen that makes it scroll through command history, for me.
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: rdiff-backup
the version of rdiff backup currently in gutsy doesn't work at all for me,
producing an exception when it tries to log. Going by the upstream changelog
this is fixed in later versions.
I have backported the current latest version from
difficult (to date there are no known cases).
