When I first started testing karmic (amd64 on a Thinkpad X300) it was
using 2.6.30 and I noticed the GNOME Bluetooth preferences had
killswitch tickboxes for my thinkpad's onboard bluetooth adapter, and
they were able to correctly control the power state of the device.

I absolutely want us to get to configurable layouts, but I'm a little concerned
about doing it, even initially, via command line arguments.

64bit karmic, I just resumed from suspend and I can use the keyboard
fine, and move the mouse, but motion events and button events are not
getting to X applications (confirmed with xev and a lack of window focus
following the apparently moving
It might be worth mentioning that vinagre was running and connected
across the suspend, so perhaps it grabbed the mouse in some way that
wasn't released properly. On resume I dropped to a console and killed
vinagre, suspecting it might be causing the problem.

1. Run vinagre, connect to a remote host. maximise the window
2. Ensure the mouse is within the vnc widget (ie events are being sent to the
remote host)
3. Close your laptop so it suspends
4. Open your laptop
5. Marvel at your inability to send

terminal titlebar.

*everyone*. If you feel the need to register that it affects you (which
you don't, imho), there is a link at the top of the page which says

Timo: I can reproduce slowness on 965 from a fresh user and a beta live
CD, so it shouldn't be the sync-to-vblank setting.
Loic: tested apw's kernel on my 965 laptop, no obvious improvements (but
also no further regressions)

I would have set the XKBOPTIONS though, via the GNOME keyboard settings.
