Reproducable: Turn on Wobble and Cubic desktop. Select Preferences in Switcher panel applet Change to 2 desktops Confirm with OK Panel crashes and tries to restart. Crashes, tries to restart, and so on. Restart of Gnome resolves. Workaround: Dont use more than one desktop in Switcher applet
