I have a nexus 4 running cyanogenmod 10.2 (at present) I can plug the
phone in and it will mount fine, I can open the phone from nautilus and
I get an icon that says internal storage, if I try and open this
nautilus closes.
Running nautilus in terminal gives the following -

try running this command in a terminal - xinput set-button-map Logitech
USB Trackball 1 9 3 4 5 6 7 8 2 (i had to switch 9 and 2 ) to get the
left scroll button function
i'm guessing that anyone with a bit of python knowledge or some thing

my system (ubuntu 8.10 intrepid) has just tried to update some packages,
how ever whilst it was updating it reported an error with the dpkg, it
then told me to run dpkg --configure -a to resolve the issue, which i
did.
but i have
this issue occured in 8.04 and 8.10 version of kubuntu (i still have 2 machines
running 8.04 and 8.10 and this happens on both of them)
i have gone back to using gnome (ubuntu) rather than kde 4 (kubuntu)
i did fix the problem on kubuntu 8.10 by removing all kde bluetooth
packages and installing
hello, just updating my original bug report.
i now have bluetooth working under kubuntu intrepid (8.10) i can pair
devices and move files between them, and so far i havent run into any
problems.
however im not using the kde bluetooth packages, i have been trying to
get it to work for a while and
another round of updates, and i can now use the nvidia driver again, but
if any extra info is needed i will be happy to provide it.

at least there is some progress for some, after yesterdays hal update,
and todays updates (monday 27th of october) i still have no functioning
bluetooth, i have tried to pair from the phone, but it doesnt see the pc
so still no dice for working bluetooth.
i did try an experiment, i got another
i have just been messing around with my bluetooth adapters again, i
havent managed to get them working, but when i ran this in terminal -

when i switched on my pc this morning i noticed there were some updates,
so i set about letting the update manager run, which went without a
problem, it installed some updates relating to the hal (i think) as i
said all went well.
i then restarted my system, things
well another day and another update, but still no bluetooth, i tried the
code again (sudo rmmod btusb sudo modprobe btusb reset=1) but no joy,
the system still sees the dongle, but doesnt seem to be loading anything
to actually use it.

well the good news is that since the kernel went from 2.6.27-6-generic
to 2.6.27-7-generic my nvidia driver issue seems to have been fixed, but
for some reason my bluetooth adapter no longer works.
its like it was before on hardy, basically i use a usb

particular issue is not actually the kernel, but with the nvidia 177
driver, from what i can tell my system when i boot up the new kernel
isnt using the new nvidia driver, even though it is installed (at least

im experimenting with the beta of the 64 bit version of kubuntu intrepid ibex
and i have a small issue, that being i cant get the new kernel to load
(2.6.27-6-generic)
basically one of 2 things happens if i load the new kernel at start up, i
either get a black
im just adding this to say that this issue hs become so bad that i cant
actually use the mouse at all now, im writing this on another pc.
the problem is also there with the latest kernel -- 2.6.27-6-generic and
the following as well -- 2.6.27-5-generic and 2.6.27-4-generic

hello, me again.
as its not really that long before intrepid is released (end of october) i took
the plunge to install the beta of intrepid, which went for the most part ok.
im sending this because ive been trying out bluetooth on intrepid, and it
works, although when i sent some pictures from

i have a total of 8 usb ports on my system, and i have tried my usb dongle in

i have gone back to using kubuntu 8.04 for the time being as i needed a stable
system, i will re-install intrepid or the newer kernel in a day or so when i
have finished with some file server issues and report back with the logs
requested.

bluetooth still broken in hardy

for some time ive had an issue with bluetooth not working in hardy (well since
i upgraded to hardy) bluetooth worked fine in gutsy.
i have as yet not been able to solve the problem, which is when i try and pair
2 bluetooth devices, the system locks up and i have to press

the other thing is where can i get the packages ? (the linux-image-2.6.27) as i
dont see them in adept, i am assuming i need to get them from somewhere.

some problems, according to the system there are 212 updates available,
as well as the restricted driver for my graphics card, and i cant
install any of them.

broke my system trying to install one (backed everything up first) been trying
