Since the translations were not imported, they were also no longer
maintained and for example the Kover translation for de is not complete.

upgraded to Ubuntu 9.10.
I expect this to work, since it used to. Now it no longer works.

I am having this problem with a Dell XPS 1530. When I click Activate for
the "Broadcom STA Wireless" driver it shows the "Downloading and

HP Elitebook 2730p and was completely puzzled by the fact that screen
rotation works but completely messes up the stylus input. Too bad,

I also got rid of gnome-panel and I'm using Stalonetray. This bug occurs
quite often to me. Sometimes also the tray doesn't appear, and it looks
like the network manager icon won't appear later on if there's no tray

Please give more information on your setup. It probably tries to start
and fail for a reason. Is there anything in the logs (/var/log/samba/)
when it fails to start at boot ? What is your networking setup ?
Wireless, fixed ? Is it configured through networkmanager or
/etc/network/interfaces ?

Further digging indicates that the T60p doesn't allow the use of the
full 4GB, at least in 32 bit mode. There is no way to tell the BIOS to
use it (see screenshots attached), even with an upgrade to the newest
