Hebrew has the same problem as Arabic so I guess RTL would work perfectly
and there are Hebrew terminal fonts.
The solution implemented in the Debian installation is just great but AFAIK
is not perfect.

Situation:
I've sshd setup to allow password logins, i.e. in /etc/ssh/sshd_config I

PasswordAuthentication yes
I can login from some ip
inet_protocols = all is now the default for new installations.

Finalement, il y avait un même courriel en plusieurs rédactions bloquées
dans la messagerie d'Evolution en refus d'envoi.
Après leur suppression, ubuntu - Gnome s'est remis en place.
Je n'avais pas supprimer les 2 fichiers signalés en erreur.

Purging the fglrx driver and installing the 10.2 drivers for my card
fixes this. I now only need vga=795 and nomodeset to be end the hanging.
I wish that ubuntu could do this out of the box.
