i know!
I usually just use /dev/zero for day to day stuff, but if i've just got a
drive from someone, or giving it away, I usually run it through a dcfldd
wipe sequence of zero / urandom / zero just to be sure.. ^_^

Great to see the event is nearly a sell out with 2 weeks left to go. How
many people registered? We'll be along with some collateral to Support
Ubuntu in Business.

Hi
Have you tried removing *splash quiet form the recovery boot options?
You might get some extra error messages that may help...
(Press e in the grub menu when Recovery line is highlighted)

To clarify a few points - yes I posted details of the competition but
the competition is being run by CompTIA. Any questions, queries or
suggestions relating to it should be pointed towards CompTIA.
The rules and choice of entry (Facebook) was chosen by CompTIA.
I'm just a messenger.

I am more interested if you have anymore information on LINUXWORLD EXPO
UK 2009 as to my knowledge there is no more Linux related shows for the
rest of 2009.

The link which Alan gives links to IDG World Expo who typically run
Linux World Expo in the US, although this was rebranded to OpenSource
World.
So unfortunately I would presume no show in Olympia in October.

For LPI information in the UK please visit: lpi-uk.org. If you go to the
Certification Section, there is a section on the exam.
Hope this helps.
