I noticed last week that the residents of 900 S 48th St were made to take the plywood covers off their windows. They put it up so their recording studio/concert venue wouldn't bother the neighbors. I heard anecdotallly that a number of people had complained to L I. Thanks L I!

Newcomers should note the term University City dates back to the 1960s, whereas UCD was spawned in the '90s. Some people can be terribly forgetful of facts that inconvenience an otherwise juicy argument. University City may have been somebody's marketing scheme when the name was coined, but it
