@JackOfAll,
On my Wandboard DHCP leases are being obtained before the chronyd or
ntpd have set the system clock, leading to rather comic DHCP lease
records such as the following:
Code:
lease {
interface "wlan0";
fixed-address 10.0.1.98;
option subnet-mask 255.25

As feared, problems are still occuring on both of my systems. On the

I'm not really too good at writing instructions, you've done a way
better job than I could, so I'd say you do it yourself and

Thanks for sanctity checking Clive, I was doing it off the top of my
head.
I'm not going to put this in the FAQ as Clive tells me it is a short
term need as hopefully CSOS will have a GUI for this stuff in the
future.
If you can't wait for that then proceed (with caution) using my
instructions a
@ LaLinea - Thank you for the feed-back. I hope the comment problem is
fixed now, I have also added pages that allow you to report your
findings with various USB-DAC and WiFi dongles.
Please all piCorePlayer users, It would be great if you would fill in
information on the USB-DAC and WiFi dongle
Guys, I'll be ignoring you for the rest of the day. I've got a bunch of
stuff I wan't to get finished, so no more popping into the forum and
email is going to be ignored for the rest of the day! (Unless it's from
Triode! ;))

I doubt that's it. Even if it was the WB doing the sox transcoding,
downsampling takes less CPU than the crazy stuff I'm doing, eg.
upsampling everything to 384k, vhq filter. The WB has no issue w

Actually, I don't understand what Pascal is seeing. Squeezelite reports
max rate 192k ba

You can install the yum-changelog plugin, then use that to see the
changelog before you install the update.

@Triode, seems like you are a genius.
So that will mean that the optical out of the wandboard will also be
usable (after soldering), till the Community Dac boards arrive.
To think that I nearly left SB for Sonos, glad I did not since the real
fun is just about to start.
Thanks chunkywizard, will try as soon as I get my new toy. I am sure
this guide will be very helpful for many new users - maybe it should
also be made part of the Community Squeeze FAQs, so the info will not
get lost.
Even though the Community player was not invented to run a server, it
would be
