Hey Guys,
I just started using LMS in my house. I successfully set up LMS on a
computer, installed XSqueeze on my HTPC running XBMC. So far everything
works fine between these two. Audio and Meta information play instantly
on my HTPC.
Next thing I did was to write an SD card with the newest piCor
Hi Ebivan,
Are you sure that audio output is set to 'analog audio' and the player
volume not to minimum?

What i am doing is running two squeezelite instances on one pi.

This. For me with a B+ it really was just a case off putting the microSD
card in, booting up, plugging in the phono->3.5mm lead, configuring and
away it went :)

Yes, Audio Output is set to "Analog output"
and outout seting is set to: sysdefault:CARD=ALSA
Hi ebivan
Thanks for testing piCorePlayer.
Could you please try to remove the MAC address and the LMS server IP
adress. Then save the changes.

Steen
piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM.

Hey thanks for the advice. After doing that, the controls in the top bar
of the webgui diappear, so i guess it needs the server adress to find my
server..?
And of course, still only noise...

And the volume is set to maximum in LMS?

Yes it is. I went back to having the LMS address put into piCorePlayer
config. Seems not to connect to the server otherwise.

I've found a solution. I can copy files to the mounted usb drive
connected to my Hummingboard with FTP. So I'm happy now!

Triode,
I've found over time that cubox fails to reboot if the connected HDD is
asleep. If the drive is active reboot works fine but if the drive goes
into sleep mode cubox fails to reboot. I guess it's because SoA is
configured to look for but can't find the drive.
Would it be possible to add

On my Debian Jessie box changing the entry in
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/squeezecenter.list to point to the "unstable"
branch got me LMS 7.8.1 which installed and ran first time, which is
great. Thanks to everyone on this thread. Questions-
- No mention of the 7.9.x branch in Synaptic Package
Hi.
I suggested towards Triode to introduce mounts through udev instead of
hardcoded mounts in /etc/fstab
This avoids hangups. And is more flexible.
Beside that I suggested to introduce an option to set different mount
points manually instead of these hardcoded mountpoints.
I'd prefer a /music.

Hi ebivan,
A completely clean rebuild should work. No settings are required to be
None of the above worked for me, did a clean install four times now,
even tried another sd card, just to be on the safe site.
Next week I'm going to borough another RasPi from a colleague, maybe its
just some wired hardware thing. Although I was running Rasbmc on that
same Pi just a week ago and h

I have found over time that when I power up my RPi+ with HiFiBerry DAC+
it appears to play but no sound until I go into the SOA Squeezelite

is not selected - i.e. if Audio Device is hw:CARD=sndrpihifiberry then
