The first time I tried it I just saw a numeric % in the left corner,
which I thought was a bit feeble. Just tried another backup, this time I
see the progress bar, happy as Larry. (Who is Larry)?

But one old thing came up. After scan of the music folder a Synology
system folder with the name "@eaDir" came up. As i remember this was an
old issue from the first versions of LMS on Synology.
Thanks for the heads up! Those were Synology specific rules, only
applied on Synology. But Docker
Thanks. Ended up wiring was correct.

Yes, this is working now without any problem. I mounted a second USB
stick and made a backup!
The progressbar is working fine with Safari on iPadOS!

This is not Windows. It wont say 100% until its 100% done.

O.K. did the mount command and it seemed to work, but I still don't see
"BOOT" listed in my folders.
I don't understand what you mean by $ ml, etc. I don;t know what to do
with that.
None of the players have been insitu updated other than from 7.0.0b2 to
7.0.0 recently

A little information here:

Hi Greg,
Not sure what might be filling the partition up. I assumed it was just
normal stuff. One of the devices that has the issue is just a player. No
LMS on it. I'll check the other two.
Could I get a more specific hint where the README is please.
Thanks,
Howard

I wanted to load an extension, but apparently there isn't enough room on
the partition, which is 2000MB. If I resize it to full, then the backup
takes forever. It's a 32GB card.
Is there a way to increase the partition to something like 4GB?
Thanks,

Well there are no linux drivers for your Netgear, so no need to learn
now. Compiling the driver is the easy part. Finding a working driver

I forgot who asked about createding images when booting from USB.
That should be fixed in WWW build 00016.
Updated extensions uploaded.
Also fixed a math error when adding image size to the filename. And I
added a progress bar.curious to see how well this works on various
platforms.
Math errors have been fixed. Numbers were too big for shell math. It
was only cosmetic errors, images were still created properly. Note the
size printed on the image name is the size needed for restore. The
gzipped image will be less than that size. Also fixed was when the boot
disk is a USB

Ah, well, it'll be a slippery slope once I start trying to make it
robust against different types of error, rather than just
'proof-of-concept' functional :)
But you're right - that should be an easy one

Followed your directions for script modification, and another success!
Everything's working as expected. I'm not as brave as Carsten is, so I
didn't try the uninstall and reinstall, but I'm going to assume that bit
works, too.

this is indeed SPI device so -o7 is what you'd want and its fully
supported by the OLED library
you can override the SPI pins via the command line or wire with the SPI0
pi gpio mapping, see here:
https://pinout.xyz/pinout/spi
alternatively you can switch to the i2c interface
Code:
If there were drivers..I've created a couple of scripts to
facilitate building drivers.
Maintaining realtek driver source has proved to be too much time.
Moving past pCP7, I will not be including kernel drivers for wifi chips
that are not in-tree. However I will keep a repo with scripts

Yes, that's all that would be needed to get the up-to-date script. But

Hi Chill...
A few questions:
1. So, in order to incorporate all of the to-date script changes, do I
just sudo nano the SQLITE-control.sh file and replace it with the script
in post #137?? Save, exit, and that's all that's needed?
2. Not that I want to, but if I have need to delete all this

I just realised that I have tried to use a Netgear WNDA320 with pCP
before.
Tried it again and it still doesn't work
Some have a third data partition.I.e. music. They typically sync
that separately.

I agree. The -G with power save and the software switch would really be
better than a constantly switching amp.

Since it is already difficult to use your current wifi dongle with
normal Linux, I am sure that it is really hard work to do the same with
tinyCoreLinux/pCP.
I use two USB wifi dongles with pCP:

before the cardname was known.
