This is my first time setting up LMS on one of my players. When I try to

Thanks for looking into it. A couple power switches avoids the
conflict.
Ive noticed a problem that just cropped up. Im running picoreplayer
8.00 and lms 8.2.0 (windows). Two of my players are being confused by
LMS. They switch back and forth on the sever. Music will play but then
stops after a song. One of the players is remote and the other is
located on my

I have multiple pi's running picoreplayer 3.2 and have had this problem
in the past. I'm currently trying to setup a new pi3 model B with a
Hifiberry DAC+ with a 5v 2.5A power adapter (canakit). LMS is running on
a dedicated windows 10 machine and player is connected via ethernet.
After I flash
Is it possible to use a dynamic dns address for the LMS IP? I use a
couple remote boxes for streaming at work and would like to be able to
avoid re enetering the ip address when my internet provider changes my
WAN IP. Thanks for providing such a great program.
Is there a way to put a dyndns address into the LMS server address box
rather than an ip address? My router ip address changes from time to
time and I'd like not to have to reconfigure them each time for remote
access.
I have 3 players and only one has this problem.
It is a Raspberry pi 2 running picoreplayer 2.05. It had this problem
on previous versions of picoreplayer. I'm not using it as a server. It
is connected to the server via ethernet. I'm using the hifiberry digi+
for audio output. The device
I have the same problem. Was running fine on ubuntu 9.04.

You don't have to upgrade to use 7.4.1 or 7.4.2. I don't have a radio,
but I have no problem with 7.4.2 on 9.04. Just use these instructions:

Do I have a bad artist tag somewhere that's breaking this view? The
scanner log doesn't show it. Where else can I look? I've got a large
84k library. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

smbfs is not available.
that's the first instruction for most of these guides. It would seem
that smbfs is defunct. the freenas can use cifs or nfs as well. There
are some additional instructions for cifs which I will try next.
thanks for the suggestions.

need a /sbin/mount.type helper program)
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
Specific instructions for the freenas would be most appreciated.
thx.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've decided to leave the freenas as is for
now. I bought a used Dell GX50 for $35 and I will put ubuntu on it with
squeezecenter. I think I can figure out how to access the desktop
remotely so that I can adjust the squeezecenter settings as needed.

to do:
1) run it headless
2) run squeeze center
3) bittorrent functions
4) share the drives with my windows and mac machines
5) the drives are formatted as UFS. Would I have to start over?
Thanks.
