Is it possible to use a dynamic dns address for the LMS IP? I use a couple remote boxes for streaming at work and would like to be able to avoid re enetering the ip address when my internet provider changes my WAN IP. Thanks for providing such a great program.

smbfs is not available. that's the first instruction for most of these guides. It would seem that smbfs is defunct. the freenas can use cifs or nfs as well. There are some additional instructions for cifs which I will try next. thanks for the suggestions. -- jbraveman

Thanks for the suggestions. I've decided to leave the freenas as is for now. I bought a used Dell GX50 for $35 and I will put ubuntu on it with squeezecenter. I think I can figure out how to access the desktop remotely so that I can adjust the squeezecenter settings as needed. -- jbraveman
