Thanks to you all!
@Brandon:
Well I don´t know if I can compete with Tims AWESOME work...
He seems to really understand what he´s doing, while I simply try to implement
what others have worked out.
But thanks for your faith in me! =D

Thanks.

I had a much more detailed look at the shaders you mention - you're doing an
awesome job!
I'm just curious: the algorithms are quite complex - how do you test whether
you've implemented them properly in VSL? Is there a standard rendering test
that you can compare your results with, or is it a

Martin,
Wow! You have been quietly hard at work on these shaders. I'm looking
forward to seeing them. I get "warm shader fuzzies" I have not felt
since back in 2006 when /Tim/ Borgmann posted his various rope and
string shaders he used in many of his outstanding pictures:

Hi Martin,
I'm very interested :-)
But there was not enough time left on my side, to play

Uh - interesting?! ;-)
What is this shader used for? I had a quick look on Google, but nothing
grabbed my attention...

Damnit, I of course had some new problems with the shader...
These occur when you use reflection or transparency (which you most probably
will when you use anisotropic highlights...).
I believe I already have the solution, but I´ll have to "investigate" a little
further.
Oh, plus you have to use
Hey all!
Gotta make this quick, am already late for an appointment...
But just had to get this out to you at last.
So I´ve been working on some shaders in the last two months, most are
nigh-complete, but I have some difficulties with all of them.
The Ashikhmin-Shirley shader for example doesn´t
