Hi,
I think we talked a couple of days via IRC. The issue looks like a switch
issue.
But I can remember a long time ago I had really trouble with tagged vlans in
XenServer after an Upgrade to 6.0.2, because citrix skipped support for some
gigabit nics.
If you like I can try to help.

Hi Nick,
I resolved my problem.
The issue was due to NFS v4 domain configuration.
I set correctly the domain on the KVM hosts but I forgot to configure the
domain on the NFS server :
/etc/idmapd.conf
=> Domain = FqdnDomainName

Hi all.
It seems that CS always tries to send alert emails via ssl -- if I
configure it to use non-ssl port (25), I get the following exception:

Have you check to make sure there are not any pending operations? Run "xe
task-list" from the XenCenter console or via SSH of the host.
What kind of primary storage are you using?
I would also check the SMlog file(located /var/log/SMlog) on the host.
When these issues occur, it's easier f
Hi Conrad,
Thanks for your response.
1. most time I checked the pending operations by running "xe task-list" from
xenserver console.
I also run some command like "xe vm-list", "xe vm-disk-list", "xe vdi-list" to
make sure the VHD configuration is ok.
2. we use iscsi device as our primary storag
RE: 4. Sorry, I did not complete my thoughts. I assumed that you had a
problem with the storage(I could be wrong).
I take a blank template, attach the VDI and test. That is what I meant by
taking CS out of the picture.

What OS is the VM (Ubuntu / CentOS/?)
You can login to the virtual router and run tcpdump on eth0 to snoop for
dhcp requests.
You can also look at /var/log/dnsmasq.log inside the virtual router to
debug dhcp issues.

I dont see the vlans trunked to the physical switchport the hosts are
connected to.
interface FastEthernet1/0/10
you have the native vlan... but not the guest range, trunk those as well.
Hope that helps.

Hi,
We ran into an issue today with a Windows 2008 template. The template
has been created in another VMWare 5.1 cluster using LSI SAS as the SCSI
controller. We imported that template in CloudStack, and we noticed
that CS deploys the VM using the LSI Parallel controller type instead.

In a development environment (compiling from source), the script is located
in
{SRC_CODE}/scripts/storage/secondary/cloud-install-sys-tmplt
and you will have to add additional parameters: "-o localhost -r root -d"
at the end to avoid some errors.
For example, after mounting secondary storage at /m

I think i answered this in another thread, but :
guest vlan range is not present on the switchport interfaces... i.e.
1/0/10. trunk there, as well as the native vlan and you should be good to
go.
Let us know if this resolves the issue.
