According to this command there are two instances of bearerbox running
on port 13015 and 13016. Is this behavior normal ??

Thanks for your responses Milan.
I can send SMS in English perfectly but when I try to send SMS in my
native language (Punajbi - Gurmukhi) then I see these
? symbols on the receiver's end. I am sending sms
using database and not using the http interface. My kannel.conf and
sqlbox.conf files are in attachment.

I am using sqlbox but my messages are not getting stored in the
database. What can be the problem now ?
What information is required from my side ?

PS: When asking for relevant to error log, we mean

But now the question is why the message is not getting stored when it
is sent from http interface ?

Should it be? Where did you read that the message which are sent over
HTTP interface are stored in any database?
They are not stored by design.
Thanks for your response. I think I misunderstood. But thank you for
clarifying it for me.
I must tell that I don't know much about SQLBox .
But even then you have cleared my lots of confusions. Thanks for the
reply once again.

Then comment out in group core the admin-port and assign in group smsbox:
sendsms-port = 13005.
I guess you can do for a few days without HTTP admin.
And don't send me personals again.

My mail with attachment is help for approval as it was too big(2MB).
So now I am sending just the tail of the bb log. Please check if its
sufficient. If its not then I can send more detail.

Hi,
I am able to send SMS using kannel. But I am not able to receive SMS.
I am trying to send SMS from my cellphone to the PC where kannel is
running. But kannel is not showing any activity about SMS being
received. Below is my configuration file.
Thanks

Maybe you should +CNMI in your init string.
Read users guide about it.
At what place in the following string AT Q0 V1 E1 S0=0 C1 D2
+FCLASS=0 I have to add +CNMI.
I copied the string from /etc/wvdial.conf file and there
I dont understand what wrong I am doing. Seems like there is conflict
between the ports. Bearerbox starts without problem , after starting
bearerbox I try to start smsbox and it also start fine but after that
sqlbox dont start. it says port already in use. But if I start sqlbox
after bearerbox
want to connect smsbox to bearerbox, you are OK.
If you want to connect smsbox to sqlbox, then you should set in group
smsbox:
bearerbox-port = 13017

Is it possible to connect to smsbox and bearerbox together at the same time ?
If not then how can I connect to either bearerbox or smsbox alone ?
