[users] Open Office won't open.

At times, when double clicking on the desktop shortcut, or even directly on the application in the program files, open office fails to open. There is no message given. When I restart the computer, it will usually open then but may fail to open later on in the same session. Do you have an idea

Hi,   I’ve installed Open Office on a eMac using X10.4 and I just can’t get it to open. The Open Office logo does appear in the Applications folder but when I click on it, nothing happens. The top of the screen does display Open Office but I cant get anything to open besides a small annoy

I just installed OOo on an eMac running 10.4.7. When I tried to open it, I got a message about a problem with X11. Do you know if you have X11 installed? It's not part of the basic installation package. If you have it installed, it should be in Applications -> Utilities. If not, insert yo

my open office won't launch when trying to open a doc.  If i restart my computer, it will launch the first time but then it won't open for other docs until i restart again.  any idea what might be wrong? thanks.

Hi Barb Sorry for the late reply. But I cannot drag the remaining OO 2.4 "Icon" from the "Dock" to the trash. To remove an icon from the dock, you don't drag it to the trash, you just drag it off the dock. The it will vanish in a puff of smoke! Adrian www.adriantry.com
