Agree with Howard - I've not yet noticed any differences between the
pre-installed OOo 2.2 that shipped with Ubuntu 7.04, and that which I
installed myself on the Windows XP system on my dual-boot machine. Just

Remove the Ubuntu version and install OOo from the official RPMs on the web OOo

I've used Star Office\Open Office on Linux for years
and version 2.2 is the most unstable & buggy yet. It's
so bad I'm telling my friends to switch to Abiword
instead until you guys get the bugs out.
