I have two documents, one a .odt and one a .doc. (They are the same document, just different formats). If I search using Vista Advanced Search by Modified Date, (they both have the same Modified Date) ONLY the .doc file is shown.

When will openoffice be compatible with Windows Vista? Yes. There are some eye candy issues which are supposed to be correct with the next version of OOo. However OOo can be used with Vista. /paul -- Vista is dramatically more secure than any other operating system released Bill Gates Huh ??
