I would try cleaning the pins inside the connector on the Plus. Since,
I believe, the DB-9 connector is analog, (eg, when you press the mouse

I've seen people try and sell them for $500 and up on eBay as a
collectors item. I don't remember ever seeing one sell though. Usually
re-listed a few times then you don't see them again. The problem is
shipping them. It can cost a small fortune. Most people selling them
usually say local pic
