I have not been able to make Eudora 5.1 connect to it. They have strange ideas
Gmail requires SSL (I think) so the incoming mail port (POP3) should be 995
instead of 110 (?). And the same happens to SMTP.
I had (a bit of) trouble configuring the account in - imagine - Outlook
2003!
Probably Eudora 1.5.5 won't work. :(

I experienced the very same problem on my Mac Plus running Eudora 1.3.1,
and since I couldn't get the email sent again, I had to follow a very
circuituous route to get the file into one piece.
I took the several parts and pasted each of them, in order, into a Word 5.1
document
