First,
Turn off the flash.
You don't need it since you have the light from the StandScan.
You want the home button pointing to the right, with the camera over the hole.
Also, I turn off the detect page, since the standscan has the camera at a good
height to get the full page.

transferred to your computer as well. If you bought the app on the IPhone,

Now this isn't brill, but if you go to appstore, updates, click purchased,
not on this iPhone, you get the list of your apps and you just go down
tapping the install buttons, and then go away and leave it a while. It will
load them sequentially, but without having to nurse it through 1` by 1.
I can confirm that this will truly is well, too. Life hacker has an article on
it, I think. I'm not sure why you have to do this, but you do. It's weird, I
know, but after the second restore from backup, all the apps should be back, as
well as their layout on the various home screens.
