There is nothing for you to manually clean-up after an install. Once you have a good install on the device the installer performs the clean-up. Keep in mind not all developers do a nice and tidy clean-up, Facebook comes to mind. My current Facebook app is consuming 1 GB of space on my 8 Plus.
