Yes, calendar is the same. That is you can add your gmail or windows live calendar to the list of available calendars on your device. This is the same with notes and contacts, etc. This can be really handy for instances where you want a shared calendar and a private calendar. For example I have

1) Don't leave your finger on the message in the list. I usually get it to work when I use a right or left flick. It does not work when I delete a message. 2) Archive has to do with whether or not your messages are flagged for saving on the server or moved to trash. Notes is for backing notes
