You don't need to go into VoiceOver settings to connect the Orbit Writer. You
just need to do that once when you initially pair the Orbit Writer. After that,
it just connects automatically when you turn on the Orbit Writer. It's also
pretty simple.

I just wanted to reply to this because I just got the Orbit Writer and have
been playing around with the settings.
These are the options that worked best for me:
Braille input: contracted (automatically translate)
Typing feedback: words
I find it gets way less confused when I have it on words
I really like my Hable One. I'm almost tempted to get an orbit writer
just to compare the 2 braille bluetooth keyboards. However, if I get
an orbit writer and don't like it I don't want to have spent $100 and

It sounds to me like you are doing everything correctly. You may want to try
this. Go to settings. Go to blue tooth, then find the orbit writer. Then
forget the device. Then also go to voice over, braille, and make sure that the
orbit writer isn't showing up there. If it is, also f

On my iPhone SE 2020 running iOS 14.4.2 I notice that when using the notes app
if I wish to insert a space when typing with the Orbit writer I need to tap the
