It would all depend on how you pay for Apple Care. If you paid in
advance for the service, then it would carry over until it expires at
the end of 24 months. If you pay monthly for the service then it would
carry over to the new device and start the 24 month cycle over again

Hi Siegard,
At least in the UK, I must disagree with you. Companies do not seem too
generous with their warrantys, quite the opposite in fact. The

I usually find my experiences at Apple Stores are very good, but the few times
I called the main Apple custpomer service line it is often the opposite. I have

Consumer Cellular offered Apple Care for $4.25 a month, when I got this phone -
$51 a year. I did not think it was worth it.

I normally just use the insurance I have through my phone company. I can't
justify paying another 130 for apple care when getting my phone, plus the one
year warranty is normally fine. Now

Mark,
I'm glad you had a good experience with your replacement in the Apple Store.
Ivy had good experiences too in the past at the Apple Store but asking a family
member to drive me there about forty minutes away is a major inconvenience and
very time consuming for getting a $30 replacement
Hello Alan,
Yesterday, I went into my local Apple store in order to get a new set of
EArpods as the microphone was starting to go bad on the ones that came with my

I went into the store, got on the waiting list for the Genius Barr, waited
about 10 minutes after which a tech came up
at that time, I didn't know about the accessibility access dept. It wasn't long
after that when I found out.
These days, that is the first phone call I make after doing all the
troubleshooting here at home.

I worked with them on an iPad Mini that couldn’t maintain a connection to
Wi-Fi. After trying everything including going to an Apple store and having
them reinstall the operating system, it still wasn’t working correctly.
you are not alone in this regard. I had to fight tooth and nail to get my last
iPhone replaced (the battery had expanded and popped off the display). The
device was still under applecare warrantee, but they tried to have me pay for a
new device.
After 3 or 4 people and 2 supervisors, I
Hi, David,
I just got a hard drive replaced on my Mac Mini. It would have cost me about
$300 otherwise. i don't know about IDevices, since they have fewer moving
parts. I have one on my Ipod, but haven't used it yet. (touch wood!)

I think your the only one who can answer that question. It's only worth
what your willing to pay for it. I'm not willing to pay for such kinds of
plans and am willing to take the risk.

If you ever have something go really wrong, in my opinion it is. I'd rather pay
the money and not need it than not pay and have a computer here I can't afford
to fix. But I usually wait until the first year is almost up for a computer; I
think you have to do it much sooner for an i-device.

Hi,
Being able to call tech support is worth it. Also, being able to have a product
replaced when its battery starts to go is great. And I've had several pairs of
earbuds replaced. Last time, my earbuds were replaced by the new earpods, which
was quite a step up, so yes, I agree it's worth the
